Metallica e Slipknot dominano i Kerrang! Awards
Sono state rese note le nomination dei Kerrang! Awards 2009 che si terranno il 3 Agosto in una località di Londra ancora top secret. L’evento sarà condotto da Corey Taylor, cantante degli Slipknot, e Scott Ian, il chitarrista degli Anthrax, molte le band nominate ma a dominare le nomination sono gli Slipknot con sei nomination, e i Metallica con cinque. Assisteremo quindi ad un vero scontro fra titani del metal, come afferma anche il direttore del settimanale Kerrang!, Paul Brannigan. Ecco la lista delle nomination divisa per categorie:
